How Posh Paws compares

Posh Paws vs Reese's Dog Grooming: mobile grooming in Cedar Park

Facts read October 17, 2026

Reese's and Posh Paws both groom dogs in a mobile van parked at your home, and both put every step into one groom rather than selling extras alongside it. Reese's publishes a long ZIP code list across Austin, Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock, and its vans carry two grooming stations so siblings can be done together. Posh Paws works the lake side out of Lago Vista, one dog per appointment. Here is how the two line up.

Everything below about Reese's comes from their own website, read on October 17, 2026; that address forwards to reesesluxurymobilegrooming.com, which is where each cell was read. Where their site does not say something, the table says so. Everything about Posh Paws comes from our own pages, read the same day.

Where Posh Paws is the better call

  • You are in Lago Vista, Liberty Hill, Georgetown or Jonestown. None of those ZIP codes are on the list Reese's publishes, which runs through Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock and much of Austin. All four are on our list, and our Lago Vista page covers the lakeside neighborhoods we call home.
  • Your dog is the only dog in the van. One dog per appointment, start to finish, with no kennels or holding cages at any point. For a dog who does better without another animal a foot away, that is the whole point of the van.
  • You want a standing slot. Many of our clients book every four, six or eight weeks depending on breed and coat type, and three to four weeks ahead is the realistic window for a weekday.
  • You want the housekeeping posted. Our hours are on the site, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with weekends by appointment, and proof of a current rabies vaccination is required at the first visit.
  • You want one package with the haircut inside it. Bath, blow-dry, haircut, nails, ears, sanitary trim, paw pads and teeth cleaning are one Full-Service Groom, quoted per dog. What the full groom covers.

Both companies groom dogs only, in a van, at your home, and both cover Cedar Park and Leander. If you are further up the lake, or you want one dog in the van and a standing slot, see our Cedar Park page and book a day.
